The Flagstaff Hullabaloo

The Hullabaloo takes over Wheeler Park downtown for a weekend every June with giant puppets, a costumed bike parade and two music stages. Kids 5 and under get in free, and so do the first 250 people each day who bring food for the food bank.

Locals put on the Hullabaloo to celebrate the town: neighbors, families, artists, local businesses and non-profits, for "families and funksters" alike. Readers of the Arizona Daily Sun and Flagstaff Live voted it the best event of the year five years running, from 2010 to 2014.
